Device folders

Device folders have two main uses:

1. Organizing and grouping devices located in different ambients, such as: stores, rooms, zones, etc.
2. Altering device main settings and sending remote commands to that group of devices, such as: set tags, set working hours, set download interval, update all, reboot all, continue playback all, etc.

How to find them

They are located at the Devices section in your DISPL Content Management System. Click the button at the left-hand vertical menu.

Creating a folder

At the Devices window, click at the "Create Folder" button, at the upper-side of the window, as below:

 

Moving devices into the folder

Select a device, and click at it's button, and choose the "Move" option.

Then, select the desired folder to move the device into and hit "Apply".

Sending main settings and commands for all devices in a folder

Select a folder, and check the settings and command menu at the right-side menu.

This menu lets the user check the desired changes he wishes to make to the devices contained into the folder.
