If a camera is rotated in a way that people appear sideways, no analytics will be collected.
Let's discuss.
Take this example: a person is sitting outside of the store, but the camera has been set for 180º and did not recognize a body shape.
Upon setting it to the upright rotation, the passerby's body shape is instantly recognized.
Be attentive to this detail. Many stores have cleaning and maintenance crews that may change camera positions, with a consequence of making your DISPL device lose the ability to collect analytics.
Upon changing a devices orientation, such as a totem or tablet, verify the camera rotation. The image has to be in an upright position.
