The "Schedule" section is designed to set up the schedule of advertising campaigns.
The schedule provides the following features:
- graphical view of the schedule;
- changing the duration of advertising campaigns and the schedule of their playback.
To view the advertising campaign schedule:
1. Open the “Schedule”
Also this option is available while campaign editing (in the “Campaigns” section click the context menu and select “Schedule” item).
2. On the upper menu set the period (from one day to one year) for campaign media plan displaying. By clicking the "Now" button, the separator in the media plan will move to the current moment, while maintaining the current scale (month, quarter, year). On a weekly and monthly scale, weekends will look darker than working days in the media plan. Vertical lines represent hours/days/months depending on scale.
When you click on the calendar, you will be prompted to select a period, depending on the scaling of the media plan, for example, if you select a day or a week, then you can select the dates you need.
If you change the scaling to a month or a quarter, the calendar will prompt you to select a specific month.
For the year scale, you will be prompted to select a specific year.
To set a filter by devices / tags:
- On the settings panel at the top, click the "Filter" button;
- Select the required devices / tags;
- After clicking on the required devices / tags will appear in the bottom line of the window;
You can search by devices / tags, choosing to combine or intersect the specified conditions. If there are cyclic campaigns in the media plan, you can select a specific profile in the filter.
3. Select the campaign you want to set a schedule for in the campaign list.
4. In the menu that appears on the right, you will see the duration of the campaign and its schedule, content previews, information about targeting and devices assigned to this campaign.
By clicking the "open campaign" button, you can change its schedule and settings.
On a scalable time field, campaigns appear as bars.
Horizontally, each bar runs from the start date/time to the end date/time of the campaign. For an unlimited campaign timeline, an infinity symbol is displayed to the left of the name.
Vertically, the strips are distributed according to:
1. Type - different types are delimited on a temporary field:
- Loops: Calendar placement;
- Loops: CPV, CPM, AdPlays;
- Timeline;
2. Campaign costs per play, regardless of whether the bid is set manually or not;
3. Priority;
When creating a new campaign, it is set to the lowest priority among its type.
The priority can be set by moving the campaign along the media plan - up, to increase, down, to decrease.
Loop Campaigns Diagram
Why you need a Loop Campaigns Chart:
- See what the loop is filled with now / in the past / in the future;
- See what didn't fit (when overflowing);
- See how free (when empty);
- Be able to change the sequence of loop campaigns.
When you click on any loop campaign in the media plan, a panel will appear on the right with the time, a diagram of cyclic campaigns and a list of loop campaigns:
Items in this menu block:
1. Time stamp - on the right panel at the top there is a field for selecting the time: now / in the past / in the future, for which the chart will be shown. You can set the time by selecting the day/month/year/time manually, or by moving the purple marker in the time field on the left side.
2. Profile - Below is a drop-down list of Profiles that the selected campaign corresponds to.
When you select another Profile from the list, the contents of the entire panel are updated. If you click on the link - an icon in the form of a square with an arrow, the Profile page opens in a new browser window;
3. Devices - under the Profile there is a drop-down list of Devices that belong to the selected Profile and to which the selected campaign is assigned.
When you select another Device from the list, the contents of the panel are updated;
4. Chart - below is a chart of the cycle of the selected Profile, corresponding to the selected time. In the diagram, the segments indicate the time intervals when a particular campaign is broadcast in a given cycle. The selected campaign is marked in the diagram with a darker color.
Inside the chart are the metrics:
The first line is the loop metrics:
- The number of campaigns that fit in the cycle;
- Number of campaigns triggered by the trigger.
The second line is the metrics of the selected campaign:
- Duration of one replay of the campaign;
- Shows Played/Planned;
- Percentage of air (Share) = number of repetitions * duration of the campaign / duration of the loop * 100% (of all repetitions of the campaign within the cycle).
5. List of campaigns - under the diagram there is a toggle switch Only active campaigns, disabled by default.
When the toggle switch is enabled, only campaigns with the "Active" status are displayed. When disabled - in all statuses.
At the bottom of the panel is a list of campaigns for the selected Profile:
- campaigns that fit in the loop: Loop;
- campaigns that did not fit in the loop - insufficient priority, cost, the cycle is already full, etc.: Out of loop;
- campaigns that work on a trigger - CPV: Trigger based.
In this list, each campaign is shown only once, regardless of the number of repetitions of the campaign in the loop.
To change the priority of a campaign in the cycle, hold it with the left mouse button and move it up/down.
To view information about the campaign, hover your mouse over the eye icon (a pop-up window will appear) or click on this icon (the campaign page will open in a new tab).
