Objective: 

Capture the ID of the current product being picked by a customer from the shelf, and provide him/her with the correspondent information to encourage the purchase on a media player screen. This can be done by sending the product identifier value to a RSS/XML/JSON file either online or at the local machine. At this moment, DISPL Player can detect the change in the archive, read it's content, and change the content being played on screen.

This solution is a step-up for all retail stores, and surely a bonus for using DISPL's digital signage.

Of course, this use case may demand a third-party software development to integrate. Consult with specialized software solutions provider to do such. We will provide full support on DISPL Player side.
