Run cycle ads on your platform
Cyclical ads are automatic ad inserts on your devices.
To run, cycle advertising on platform devices, you need to add and configure time gaps for advertising inserts. Another name for these gaps is "cycles."
Cycle Setup
There are two types of ads in Displayforce:

Private Programmatic in Trading Desk (CMS)

Direct Ad sales in Trading Desk (CMS)
Cyclical advertising campaigns are placed in cycles in the intervals of the basic broadcast.
Add and configure cycles.
Go to Extensions
Choose "Direct Ad sales in Trading Desk (CMS)".
1) Enable this extension.
2) Enter the name of the profile.
3) Set the "Expiration Date" of the profile. The duration of the profile determines how long the profile settings will be up-to-date. In turn, specify the day, month, year, and time of the beginning (From) and end (To) of the cycle life.
Two important rules for setting up a profile are:
1. The number of cycle repetitions in the total time should not be greater than the cycle size (a cycle of 10 minutes, cannot be repeated more than 1 times in 10 minutes, 2 times in 20 minutes, 3 times in 30 minutes, etc.)
2. Using loop repetitions, remember that at a certain point in time, repeated loops can overlap in time.
- Specify "Fixed" or "Flexible" cycle duration type
- Optional: Add rules that allow this cycle to play in an ad campaign. Click "Add rule".
In the rules, you can specify the conditions for what months, numbers, days of the week, and at what time the cycle will be played in each hour. After creating the rule, select one of the above options. If necessary, you can create a rule with all five conditions. You can create an unlimited number of rules. If all the conditions of any of the rules are met, campaigns will be able to play within this cycle at the specified time.
- Setting up the Loop duration. Specify the quantity and unit of measure (seconds, minutes, or hours). This amount of time the loop will be played on the device.
- Enter the number of loop repetitions per time and specify the time unit.
- Turn on this option to evenly distribute the cyclical campaigns and the basic ether of the device.
- Setting up audience segments:
- Number of men in the room where the broadcast point is set for the period of one cycle play. Note: the time of one cycle play is set in point 4)
- Number of women in the room where the broadcast point is set for the period of one cycle play. Note: the playing time of one cycle is set in point 4) - Setting up the cost of advertising sales. Click on the "pencil icon" and enter the amount.
Note: Indicating the cost of advertising becomes available after the corresponding extension is included.
Extension "Private Programmatic in Trading Desk (CMS)":
- — Play ads by classic model “Calendar placement”
- — Play ads with target to achieve the number of ads broadcast “Ad Plays”
Extension "Dooh.One":
- — Play ads with target to reach the number of audience impressions ”CPM (Cost per Mile)”
- — Play ads with target to achieve the number of guaranteed views ”CPV (Cost per View)
- — Calculation of metrics: forecast of impressions, guaranteed views, the audience reach (OTS), Gross Rating Points, budget
Important. Prices are indicated for one second of playing an advertising campaign.
Click Save for the changes to take effect.
In this profile, it is possible to create from 1 to 10 cycles. To add another cycle, click.
After you save your profile, you can assign devices that will use the generated loop
